You shouldn't have to ask what it costs.

Workiz is a capable product with a genuinely good phone system attached. But all three of their tiers say 'Request pricing', and the features most shops ask about sit behind either the top tier or a separate add-on.

We publish what we cost.
You can decide without booking a call.
All three of their tiers say 'Request pricing'.

Workiz has a genuinely good phone system attached. What we do is put $49, $149 and $299 on the page, so you can work out whether we fit your shop before anyone rings you about it.

1 Housecall Pro list prices are for annual billing; paying monthly costs more. 2 Service Fusion month-to-month rates. Their annual rate is 15% lower but charged as one payment up front. 3 Housecall Pro doesn't publish seat counts on its pricing page. 4 Workiz publishes only the cost of extra seats — $55/month on Standard and $65/month on Pro, on annual billing — not the base price. 5 Workiz states plans are billed annually at purchase and doesn't publish a month-to-month rate. 6 ServiceTitan's vehicle GPS tracking is reported to be a paid add-on. 7 Housecall Pro tracks materials on a job but publishes no stock-and-reorder module. 8 Workiz shows two-way texting on all tiers, but it sits inside their Genius Phone add-on, marked sold separately. 9 Service Fusion lists "text messaging alerts" on all tiers and "integrated voice & text" on Plus and Pro; they never use the phrase "two-way".

Straight answers

Worth knowing before you switch.

A real phone system

Their Genius Phone product — call recording, tracking numbers, answering — is better than anything we offer, because we don't offer it. It is sold separately from their plans.

Location tracking on every tier

Workiz includes fleet and team location tracking on all three plans. Ours starts on Professional.

A shorter trial, but a trial on everything

Their 7-day trial covers the whole platform. Ours is 14 days but runs on Professional, so the top-tier stock features aren't in it.

The other side

What you get back.

A price on a page

$49, $149 or $299 a month. No quote form, no demo before you see a number, and the price you read is the price you pay.

No contract and no setup fee

Month to month, cancel whenever. Nothing to pay before you start.

Stock and orders without enterprise pricing

Warehouse stock, truck stock, reorder points and purchase orders on the $299 plan.

An app that works with no signal

Photos, notes, checklists and hours save on the phone and upload themselves when the bars come back.

Questions

Before you switch.

What does Workiz cost?

They don't publish it. All three tiers — Standard, Pro and Ultimate — show a 'Request pricing' button. The only figures on their pricing page are for extra seats: $55 a month on Standard and $65 a month on Pro, on annual billing. Older third-party figures float around, but they cite tier names that no longer exist on Workiz's own page, so we won't repeat them.

Is two-way texting included with Workiz?

It shows a checkmark on all three tiers, but it sits inside their Genius Phone section, which their page marks as sold separately. So it isn't in the base plan price. Ours is on the Business plan with no add-on.

What's behind Workiz's top tier?

Inventory, purchase orders, connecting your own software, maintenance agreements, equipment tracking, checklists and flat-rate pricing are all Ultimate-only, per their own comparison table. Their automations are also capped by tier — 5, 10 and 30.

Can I pay monthly with Workiz?

Their FAQ says plans are billed annually at the time of purchase and mentions annual saving over monthly, but doesn't publish a monthly rate or state that month-to-month is available. Ours is month to month, cancel whenever.

Does Workiz work offline?

Yes — their mobile app page says technicians can view and update job details with no connection and it syncs when signal returns. Same as ours. This one's a tie.

Run both for two weeks.

Keep Workiz running and put a week of real jobs through ours. No card, no call.
